Roots in Ikwuano, Heart in Canada
Ikwuano and Umuahia, nestled in the heart of Abia State, Nigeria, are lands rich in culture, history, and community spirit. For generations, our people have been known for their resilience, hospitality, and deep commitment to education and progress.
The Ikwuano Umuahia Community Association of Canada was founded to bring together indigenes of Ikwuano and Umuahia living across Canada. Our association serves as a bridge connecting our members to their roots while helping them thrive in their Canadian home.
From humble beginnings with a handful of families, IUCA has grown into a vibrant organization with members spanning multiple provinces, hosting annual cultural events, awarding scholarships, and providing critical support to families in need.

Our Mission
To foster unity, cultural preservation, and mutual support among Ikwuano and Umuahia indigenes in Canada, while promoting the social, educational, and economic well-being of our members and their families.
